A dramatic overlook of Chattanooga and the river below, at the NPS site marking the 1863 Battle Above the Clouds. The park itself is a short walk from parking; longer trails lead out to Sunset Rock and the Cravens House site further down the mountain. About 30-35 minutes from Soddy-Daisy.

Open daily 8:30 AM-5 PM. A sweeping overlook of Chattanooga and the Tennessee River from the site of the 1863 "Battle Above the Clouds." Longer trails connect to Sunset Rock and the Cravens House loop (about 4.2 miles, 3-3.5 hours) - the Cravens House itself is currently closed inside, but the grounds and porch view are open.
