A 120-foot waterfall on Lookout Mountain, protected by a private land trust — genuinely worth the trip, but only open a handful of weekends a month and requiring a reservation, so this is a plan-ahead outing rather than a spontaneous one. About 40-45 minutes from Soddy-Daisy.

Before you go: check lulalake.org for the current Open Gate Days and book a reservation — showing up without one won't get you in.

Getting around

Not checked yet

Reservations required - book ahead at lulalake.org. Open the first and last weekend of each month May-November, and the first and last Saturday only December-April. Saturdays 9 AM-5 PM, Sundays (in season) noon-5 PM; gates close at 3:30 PM. Lula Falls is about a 30-minute hike one way from the entry point.

This is what we’ve observed, not a formal accessibility certification. Things change — tell us if this is out of date.
