The signature waterfall of the Cumberland Plateau, plus a genuinely huge park around it — trails, camping, cabins. Worth pairing with a stop at the nearby Fall Creek Mennonite Community on the same trip.

Still to confirm: current trail conditions and visitor center hours.

Getting around

29,800 acres across Bledsoe and Van Buren counties. The falls themselves drop 256 feet — Tennessee's tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi. Camping, cabins, hiking trails, and a nature center/gift shop (10821 Park Road). About an hour to 75 minutes from Soddy-Daisy — a real day trip, not a quick outing.

This is what we’ve observed, not a formal accessibility certification. Things change — tell us if this is out of date.
