The Tennessee River reservoir Soddy-Daisy sits along — fishing, boating and open water, with a public ramp on Armstrong Rd and marinas (Pine Harbor, Bass Bay) nearby for fuel and services. Lake levels are managed by TVA and change with releases, so it's worth checking current levels before heading out.

Still to confirm: which ramp is easiest for a first-timer, parking capacity on busy weekends, and whether there's a fee at any of the ramps.
