Chickamauga Battlefield

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park — Chickamauga Unit3370 LaFayette Road, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742Get directions →

The Civil War battlefield itself, just south of Chattanooga — museum exhibits, the Fuller Gun Collection, and driving and walking tours across the battlefield grounds. Part of the same National Military Park as Signal Point, on the other end of the park's holdings.

Visitor center generally open daily, 8:30 AM–5 PM (closed Christmas and New Year's Day). Museum exhibits on the Battle of Chickamauga and the Campaign for Chattanooga, plus the Fuller Gun Collection. A 26-minute orientation film plays on the half hour, 9 AM–4 PM.
