A $4.4 million renovation is rebuilding the skatepark and dog park here — about 30,000 square feet of new skateable concrete, a plaza, restrooms and a redesigned dog park. The city's own page still lists a Fall 2026 target, but a City Parks spokesperson says weather-related delays have pushed the actual reopening to December 2026.

Not currently recommended as a skateboarding destination — the skatepark and dog park are both closed for construction. The hockey rink and the pavilion parking lot stay open in the meantime.
