A wooded gorge with a walking trail along the creek and swimming holes at the end — also good for trout fishing and wildlife viewing. Popular with families in the summer.

Still to confirm: trail length and difficulty, whether dogs are allowed, and what the water is like at different times of year.

Before swimming: check the swim water advisory — WaterWays tests E. coli levels here weekly through Labor Day.

Getting around

What we noticed · 2026-08-16

The overlook near the parking area gives a view down into the gorge without walking the trail. The trail itself to the swimming holes is unpaved, has some uneven footing, and is not a short walk — worth knowing before setting out.

This is what we’ve observed, not a formal accessibility certification. Things change — tell us if this is out of date.
