Governor Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation announced on October 20 that the state's 70th park will be Angel's Hollow State Park. It will take in part of McDonald Farm and other state-owned land near the Hamilton–Rhea county line, roughly 2,500 acres, beside about 300 acres Hamilton County is keeping, including the historic McDonald Farm homestead and fairgrounds.
The park isn't open yet. Check back for trails, hours and entrance details once the state announces them.
